Launching 2002

This is the procedure that took place during Launching S/Y EFAKI in Kalamaki Marina in April 2002 after her annual preparations for a new season. These preparations include antifouling, checking and replacing of through hull fittings and valves, etc.

S/Y EFAKI on the cradle with the rudder ready to be positioned later.

The anxious moments of lifting her up from the cradle.

And positioned up the trailer that will take her to the sea.

Antifouling of the keel and the sides that were touching the cradle.

Moving to sea and the second lift up.

Positioning of the rudder.

Antifouling the rudder base. Note this (it is custom made).

Final lift up and on the sea at last !!!

Next is the positioning of the mast after a thorough check for leaks.
