Le Mistral

This is Le Mistral of Adrian & Sally Franks who wrote me:  We have had Le Mistral since 1997.  Sailing area is England South Coast, Solent.  We lost the rig about 6 years ago of Cowes. I needed an excuse to replace the sails (nice excusse!!).  We now have a new modern rig and fully battened main which I believe has reduced the rig noise and the fully battened main was an excellent purchase and lets her point closer to the wind.  In 2005 we reengined her from the old ysm 8 to the new yanmar 2ym15 which makes her go alot better in a seeway, particularly with the children on board.

Nice to hear from you Adrian & Sally, I hope you sail a lot the coming summer.
