When I bought Efaki back in 1996 along came an auto pilot, an Autohelm 1000. After playing with it for some time I thought that it was useless so I forgot about it. Recently that I "discovered" it again in a closet at home, I thought of giving it a try. So I took it to the local representative of (now called) Raymarine, Mr Skordilis who happens to be a good friend. After just looking it for a minute or so, he told me that there is a little rope inside that has been lifted off it's position and in about 5 minutes one of the boys in his service station fixed it for me, free of charge. Now there was my Autohelm, but I have not had any documentation regarding the use, maintenance etc. A net search unfortunately didn't help. A post in the Newsgroups made possible the contact of Philip Walton from UK that he also had an Autohelm 1000 that was broken and replaced. He kindly sent me his manual (thank you Philip) which now I have scanned to a pdf available here for download.
